A whole awesome SXSW recap is coming, along with what I did in Austin the two days following. But right now I’m still getting over the craziness of last week and have some kind of sinus sickness which is no fun. In the meantime, check out a little thing that makes me happy: That would be October 26, for anyone wondering ;)
As I’m writing this, I’m on a flight down to Austin, Texas for the annual South By Southwest (SXSW) music festival! I went for the first time last year through my college’s radio station and it was so much fun, and I’m excited to be going again this year! Every now and then I work at events at different venues around New York. This past Friday & Saturday I worked at the Nokia Theater in Times Square. I hate going to that area of town because of all the slowpoke tourists getting in my way when I’m already late and wait for the crosswalk signs to turn when there are clearly no cars coming ::takes deep breath:: Anyway… Leaving work on the night of Valentine’s Day, I was greeted to this guy waiting on the subway platform: Heya! My name is Miss Alix and welcome to Don’t Threaten Me With A Good Time! With this blog I hope to highlight some of the fun stuff that I do / have done, along with a bit of casual blogging. |
